Horse Driving Sport

In 1999 I learnt how to drive horses with a carriage. My trainer was Josef (Pepi) Leibetseder in Altenfelden, Austria, who first showed my how to do it. It was a lot of fun and (frankly) is almost addictive. In the same year I passed the test for entry drivers in Austria and got awarded the Bronze Driving Pin.
After a significant (forced) 5-year break (due to my assignment in the US) I re-started my eduction and training with Pepi in 2005. In the same year I passed the trounament license (for Austria) and passed the test for the Silver driving reward.

In case you are interested and would like to check Pepi's home page out, here is the link

In 2006 I started to compete on National trials in Austria. In November 2007 I got my first own horse (Frick) and one year later I bought Bartica and Falstra. Unfortunately Falstra already passed away due to a kolic one year later (October 2009). In early 2010 I got two more horses (Salamanca and Cornel).

Below please find the results of selected trials
